All public streets, alley and sidewalk pavement shall be in good repair. All repair work to public streets, alleys, and sidewalk pavement, whether done by the city or property owner, shall be in good repair. Such repair work, whether done by the city or the abutting owner, shall be under the supervision of the superintendent of maintenance. (Prior code § 33-1-6)
