Chapter 12.04 STREETS AND SIDEWALKS GENERALLY
Section 12.04.100 Barbed wire fences--Electric current fences.
It is unlawful to maintain or construct any fence composed
in whole or part of barbed wire, or
with any similar materials, designed to cause injury to person, or any wire charged with electrical
current anywhere within the city, except in zoned agricultural areas, provided, however, barbed
wire used as protection for industrial property shall be at least six feet above the sidewalk and
extend inward of property. (Prior code § 33-1-10)
