Every building or structure in the city used for residence, business, trade, industry or meeting purposes, where public sanitary sewer service is available, shall be equipped with properly constructed and installed adequate sewage disposal facilities. The plumbing in all such places shall conform to the codes of the city and the laws of the state relating thereto. (Prior code § 38-3-5)
