The term "electrical equipment," as used in this chapter, means conductors and equipment installed for the utilization of electricity but does not include apparatus, conductors and other equipment installed by public utilities, including common carriers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Commerce Commission, for use in their operation as public utilities.
