Chapter 15.64 HISTORIC SITE PRESERVATION
Section 15.64.200 Issuance of certificate of appropriateness.
(A) The CHPC shall notify the applicant of their decision within five (5) days
after the public
meeting. Upon approval of the application, the Commission shall issue a signed COA to the
applicant, with copies forwarded to the Building Commissioner / Ordinance Administrator and
the City Council. If the application for COA is denied by the Commission, the applicant can
request appeal in accordance with the provisions of Sections 15.64.250 and 15.64.260 of this
chapter.
(B) A COA shall be invalid if changes in the plans reviewed by the Commission
are necessary
in obtaining the building permit, or if the building permit issued for the same work becomes
invalid. The COA remains valid for the same period of validity as the building permit.
