Section 15.69.020 Nonconforming storage trailer.

    Nonconforming storage trailer means any trailer used for storage located on a real estate lot in the city which is in violation of the requirements of this chapter of the city’ s municipal code. A nonconforming storage trailer may remain and be maintained on a real estate lot in the city by ordinary repairs until the 30th day of April, 2001 (being one year from the date of the adoption of this chapter of the city’ s municipal code); provided and only if:
    A.    It is not altered or enlarged in such a way as to increase its nonconformity;
    B.    It meets the zoning requirements of the zoning district it is located in;
    C.    It is being used as an accessory use to the principal building on the premises and if the use of the principal use of the building on the premises for which the trailer is an accessory use is discontinued, the trailer must be removed;
    D.    It will not be replaced after incurring damage in an amount exceeding fifty (50) percent of its market value at the time of loss as determined by the zoning administrator;
    E.    It must meet the anchorage and tie down requirements of the city’ s building code; and
    F.    If the use of the storage trailer is discontinued for a continuous period of six months, the storage trailer must be removed. (Ord. 1842 § 1 (part), 2000)
