Section 17.58.060 Screening of rooftop mechanical units required.
Rooftop mechanical units must be screened. The screening shall have a minimum height
equal to the height of the mechanical equipment required to be screened. Screening may be
provided by extending the parapets of the building or structure on which the equipment required
to be screened is located, or by construction and installation of a mansard roof to screen the
mechanical equipment, or by enclosing the mechanical equipment in a mechanical penthouse.
