Section 2.08 EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO THE MAYOR
Chapter 2.08.010 Appointment.
At the first annual meeting in May of each year, the mayor
shall appoint, by and with the
advice and consent of the city council, an executive secretary to the mayor, to hold office for the
ensuing fiscal year of the city, and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. Any
vacancy in the office of executive secretary to the mayor shall be filled in the same manner. The
mayor shall issue a commission or certificate of appointment to all persons appointed to the
office of executive secretary to the mayor, as soon as practicable after the first annual meeting of
the city council in May of each year, evidencing the appointment. (Ord. 752 § 1 (part), 1989:
