In accordance with the requirements of Section 162 of the Revenue Act of the state of Illinois (Ill. Rev. Stat., Ch. 120, Para. 643), within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the city’ s budget ordinance, the city clerk shall file with the Monroe County, Illinois clerk: (i) a certified copy of the budget ordinance, and (ii) an estimate of revenues anticipated by the city for the ensuing fiscal year of the city to be prepared and certified by the budget officer, as the chief fiscal officer of the city.
